Congratulations to U.S. GLOBE Student Researchers!

Three high school students presenting a poster at the 2022 SRSCongratulations to all the U.S. GLOBE students that participated in the International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) and the Student Research Symposia (SRS) this year!

In spring 2022, 212 students submitted a total of sixty-three projects to the IVSS. Students, ranging from elementary to undergraduate, investigated a wide range of topics from mosquito hotspots to water quality to plant diversity. See all student projects from the Student Research Report page by clicking “Open Filters” and choosing Year: 2022, Country: United States of America, and Report Type: International Virtual Science Symposium Report.

A special congratulations to the two projects selected to receive stipends for GLOBE program activities at their schools. Projects qualified for the drawing by receiving the highest possible score for student research as determined by a team of international judges.

At the in-person Student Research Symposia this spring, 211 students presented sixty-eight GLOBE research projects. Students presented their investigations to peers and STEM professionals. Learn more about the 2022 SRS and see all projects here.

Congratulations again to all students for their hard work, and thank you to all the GLOBE teachers, partners, and families who supported these students throughout their research!
