Funding Information

Educators: NASA funding supports six regional Student Research Symposia for educators and students already out research investigations with GLOBE data. Educators in the U.S. who are seeking additional assistance in implementing field investigations in the classroom are eligible to apply for funding to support travel costs for an educator and up to 4 students to attend a regional symposia.

The Funding Application is due February 1, with rolling awards afterwards for eligible teams until the funds are expended.

This application is only open to educators bringing students to present at an SRS event. Funding priority will go to under-served and under-represented educator-student teams who do not already participate in science symposia/fairs. After that, funds will be distributed until they are expended. All research projects must include GLOBE data.

Registration Directions

ALL event attendees (students, educators, GLOBE partners, chaperones, etc.) need to register for their Regional Symposium individually and sign a media release.  To register, please visit your Region's Symposium event page.
