This training is for teachers and informal educators grades 5-12. Participants will receive an overview about GLOBE, environmental monitoring protocols in the areas of Atmosphere (weather), Hydrosphere (water), Pedosphere (soils), and Biosphere (land cover), and will be introduced to related hands-on science activities, as well as how to engage students in environmental investigations. Participants will walk away with new tools, activities, lesson plan ideas, connection to a database of environmental measurements and visualization tools to creatively display data. If interested, we will work with you to collaborate with GLOBE schools in some of the 128 countries involved in the program.
