Campaign Green down in Biotechnical school Maribor, Slovenia - fig trees

At Biotechnical School Maribor, we participated in the Green Down campaign for the second year in a row. We followed the fig tree in the same location. You can see big differences in the coloration of the leaves in 2023 and 2024. The reason may be a much higher temperature. In 2024, the average temperature is 1.1 degrees higher. Precipitation was 283 liters per square meter less in the first 10 months. As a result, the leaves on the fig tree also fell off faster.
