Participating in the 2023 International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS)? Join the multilingual webinar, “GLOBE Clouds Student Research Resources” on 12 December, 04:00 p.m. EST. Marilé Colón Robles (NASA Langley Research Center, Hampton, Virginia, USA) and Rosalba Giarratano (NASA Langley) will share GLOBE clouds resources that can help students prepare to participate in the 2023 IVSS. The webinar will be presented in Spanish and English.

Webinar Presenters
Marilé Colón Robles is the project scientist for NASA GLOBE Clouds at NASA Langley Research Center. She engages with GLOBE students and teachers through the GLOBE International STEM Network (GISN) and the GLOBE Science Working Group. Marilé received the 2017 Women of Color STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Award for Educational Leadership – Corporate Promotion of Education for her passion to expose students, particularly those in underserved communities, to STEM. She has also been recognized during multiple NASA Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations. Marilé received a B.S. Degree in chemistry (University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras); a M.S. Degree in atmospheric sciences (University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign); and she completed the Endeavor STEM Teaching Certificate Program in STEM Education through the Teachers College of Columbia University.
Rosalba Giarratano is the Outreach Coordinator for NASA GLOBE Clouds at NASA Langley Research Center. She has experience both as a STEM professional and as an educator. She feels very passionate about helping make STEM accessible to all, and she is delighted to engage diverse audiences in contributing meaningfully to science research through The GLOBE program. Rosalba received the 2021 NASA Agency Honor Award – Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Medal for her commitment to workplace advancements that improve accessibility and opportunities for individual with disabilities. She is currently pursuing a PhD in education, with a focus on instructional design and technology. She holds a Master's Degree in bilingual education, a Master's Degree in information systems, and a Bachelor's Degree in electronics and communications engineering. .
