GLOBE Observer Connect August 2026: Meet PACE

A new satellite is joining the GLOBE Clouds family! Meet PACE – the Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem satellite. Starting in August, your cloud data will be matched to the PACE satellite. Your observations will provide additional insight and verification to scientists developing cloud products with PACE data. 

On 27 August at 12 p.m. ET (16:00 UTC), Dr. Andy Sayer and Dr. Carina Poulin from PACE will join Marilé Colón Robles from the GLOBE Clouds team to introduce PACE and a new Clouds Challenge to collect Clouds observations aligned with PACE worldwide. Dr. Poulin will introduce PACE to the GLOBE community, and Dr. Sayer will describe how you can collect data with GLOBE Observer to support his research.
