Special Thanks to Tracy Ostrom and Sarah Nern

The U.S. Partner Forum would like to thank Tracy Ostrom and Sarah Nern for their service to the GLOBE community. They each recently completed their terms on the Forum for the Pacific U.S. Region (Tracy Ostrom) and the Midwest U.S. Region (Sarah Nern). Your input and leadership will be missed!

New Partner Forum Member in the Pacific Region

Peggy FolettaPeggy Foletta, Partnership Coordinator for Elkhorn Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve, joined the U.S. Partner Forum in January 2024. Peggy had a long career teaching high school science at Kingsburg High School in the Central Valley of California, where she first learned about GLOBE. Her passion has always been to instill in students the love of nature and the value of understanding the environment through science. GLOBE was the catalyst for years of outdoor studies by her high school students, some who presented their projects internationally at GLOBE conferences. Peggy continues her passion by immersing students and training teachers using GLOBE activities and protocols in slough habitats and managing the GLOBE Partnership.
