53 participants from 6 countries from all over the Europe got together at first international workshop about aerosols. International workshop for teachers was organized as a part of new project „Aerosols in Europe” initiated by GLOBE Norway.

The workshop took place from September 16 - 19 in Nove mesto na Morave, Czech republic. The main goal of the workshop was to learn all about how and why to do aerosol measurements. Two Norwegian scientists Marianne Lund and Bjørn Samset from research center CICERO gave excellent lectures about aerosols and climate change.

The second goal of the workshop was to let the schools get to know each other and make plans for the future collaboration.

The workshop was organized by GLOBE Norway: Karl T. Hetland and coordinated by GLOBE Regional Office.
