Writing this blog does not mark a complete severance of my link with GLOBE Nigeria and GLOBE Africa as a whole, a country, and a continent, I espoused and loved right from my primary school about 25 years ago. As observed by many Nigerians, I am qualified to be described as a passionate GLOBE Man. Greetings, On April 22, 2020, the 50th anniversary of Earth Day, and the 25th anniversary of GLOBE and me as a GLOBE Teacher, I introduced the GLOBE Satellites and Education Team (G-SET). For me, and from the beginning of GLOBE in 1995, one of the best opportunities for GLOBE was to introduce and integrate the use of satellite imagery and remotes sensing to the K12 community.
