The GLOBE Program Recipient of NASA 2021 Agency Honor Award

 

The GLOBE Program is a recipient of the NASA 2021 Agency Honor Award for the Group Achievement category. The Agency awards are NASA’s most prestigious awards and are presented to individuals and teams who have distinguished themselves by making outstanding contributions to the Agency’s mission.

While this award specifically recognizes accomplishments of GLOBE-related staff from December 2019 through November 2020, Dr. Allison Leidner, NASA’s GLOBE Program Manager noted that, “GLOBE is a connected community, so NASA’s recognition for the program reflects the accomplishments of all the students, teachers, citizen scientists, and partners around the world who are key to GLOBE’s success.”
