JOIN AN ADVENTUREHave you heard about Dr. John Francis, also known as the Planetwalker?
When he was young, he stopped using cars and walked everywhere to spread his message about the necessity of helping the environment. He kept this up for an incredible 22 years. What´s more, he chose to stay silent for as long as 17 years!

Now, despite being 77 years old, Dr. John Francis is walking across Africa to support the GLOBE Program. His Planetwalk is all about collecting data, spreading kindness, and taking action to make things better. He wants everyone to know that by working together, we can find the best ways to protect our planet.

HOW TO JOIN?
John Francis has a simple suggestion for students interested in the environment. “I suggest walking through your neighbourhood.”

TRY A TREEWALK
🌳
Take a walk and visit your tree or any natural spot with trees nearby. Spend some quiet time with the trees - just for a few moments or even for 17 minutes to honor John's 17 years of silence.

Let children enjoy this peaceful time as they wish - they can touch the tree, observe its details with a magnifying glass, paint a picture, or simply sit and look up at the tree tops.

Check out other teams' tree walk experiences. Let us know how you enjoyed yours.
